do the O2 sensors in my 91 mustang gt effect the performance of my engine?
if the O2 sensors on my mustang are not plugged in will this cause my engine to run differently? i recently put in a 89 HO motor in it to replace the 140000 mile original that i shattered the crankshaft in. the engine i put in has just over 100000 on
Yes, it could.
If the 02 sensors are damaged, they should be replaced with new ones.
If they are not plugged in, the engines computer cannot correct your air/fuel mixture, which would cause problems.
