Dodge Durango question?

I currently own a 2000 Dodge Durango with a v8 5.9liter engine that has 4 wheel drive. We recently replaced the ac clutch with a bypass pulley. We drove it for about 25 miles it was raining during the drive. (in our area it floods easily) we drove threw

lift the distributor cap check for water in it.
check the fuse box for burned fuse .
borrow (or buy it sears ) an OBD scanner.

may final check,
hammering the starter solenoid and try to start it with a fully charged
