@ - Yeah, have them check both then. Could be that the alternator isn't charging the battery or that battery is fried.
@ - Should. Is the battery dead, or is it completely FRIED? Dead just means no power; jump it, and the alternator will charge it up.
The good news.. @'s car almost turned into an autobot on the road. The bad news.. his alternator is fried
